Who We Are: What is Panhellenic?
The National Panhellenic Conference is an umbrella organization for 26 national women's sororities throughout the United States and Canada. Each member group is autonomous as a social, Greek-letter society of college female-identifying people and alumnae.
Our three Panhellenic Chapters at the University of California, Santa Cruz consist of Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Gamma Phi Beta.
Being apart of a Panhellenic Organization can bring so many lovely opportunities your way. With friendships that'll last you a lifetime, practice in holding an important position, and opportunities for future jobs as an advisor, being part of a Panhellenic Organization, the possibilities for growth are endless.
The connections you make not only within your own organization but within Panhellenic
can help open you to expand your horizons, learn about other organizations, and meet people you might not have met otherwise!
Meet the President
Casey Schwartz
Hi everyone! My name is Casey and I am your Panhellenic President for this year! :) I am so excited for everything Fall recruitment is going to bring! When I went through formal recruitment in 2021, things looked very different. Everything was online, but now we are so lucky to be in person! Being the Panhellenic President has meant so much to me. Finding my home through recruitment was the best decision I have ever made, and I am so happy to be there for all of the potential new members in their recruiting process as well. Panhellenic has brought me some of the best friendships, memories, and opportunities I could've asked for. I wouldn't be who I am today without Panhellenic, and I can't wait for our community to expand even more with Fall recruitment! It is my hope as President to give potential new members the best recruitment experience, and make sure everyone ends up where they belong! My favorite memory in joining Panhellenic has been Fall recruitment last year, watching all three organizations expand, and I am so excited for what is to come for us in this fall!

Meet the Vice President of Membership
Ruby Houghton
Hi! My name is Ruby and I am the Panhellenic Vice President of Membership this year! I am incredibly excited for this upcoming recruitment year! I went through formal recruitment in 2020, so COVID made things a little crazy since everything was online. Thankfully we have a fully in person year and we are thrilled! Being a part of the Panhellenic Recruitment means so much to me since going through recruitment was one of the best decisions I made in college, and my experience going through recruitment inspired me to be there to support anyone interested in joining Panhellenic. Being a part of this community has meant the world to me and has given me some of my best friends and taught me so many things. I am so thankful for this opportunity to help others find their place at Santa Cruz, wherever it may be!

Meet the Vice President of Finance
Rachel Rindlisbacher
Hello my name is Rachel Rindlisbacher and I am your Panhellenic Vice President of Financials. I am currently a 3rd year at UCSC and this is my second year helping put on recruitment! Last year I was a Panhellenic delegate and the previous executive board for Panhellenic all encouraged me to be apart of the board so I ran and I was elected! I love my position and I am so ecstatic for recruitment this fall! I can’t wait to meet everyone and help everyone potentially find a home in one of our sororities.
